IICSA have announced the publication of its Interim Report on Thursday 25 April 2018, which will be available from 12:00 noon on the Inquiry’s website.The report will address the emerging themes from the inquiries work to date, and is likely to address the findings in both its first report into Child Migration Programmes and the most recent report into Cambridge House, Knowl View and Rochdale which was published on 12 April 2018.
IICSA has stated that the Interim Report will include recommendations for specific changes to better protect children from sexual abuse. The Inquiry made no recommendations within its most recent report regarding Cambridge House, Knowl View and Rochdale, pending the conclusion of their investigations in respect of Nottinghamshire and Lambeth Councils and the Child Sexual Abuse by Organised Networks. The Interim Report may provide some insight into the Inquires initial position regarding safeguarding recommendations.
